Poker Player indicted on terrorism charge after threatening Las Vegas casinos

Just before Labor Day weekend celebrations, a World Series of Poker player has been arrested and charged with making terroristic threats against several Las Vegas resorts. Kenneth Strauss who has been arrested in late July at the Trump International Hotel on the Strip after the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department answered to a call of a suspicious person checking into the hotel.

Earlier this day Strauss was kicked out of the Red Rock Hotel due to being accused by a family of trying to lure their 8 year old son at the resort’s pool. After security reported the incident, hotel management decided to remove Strauss from the property immediately. To this day, the allegations are still under investigations.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department was able to track down the suspect after he left the Red Rock Hotel heading to the Trump Hotel. Officers took him into custody based on the threats at both hotels. Strauss wrote on his twitter account “and all Casinos that have me banned will be destroyed effective immediately.”

According to the police, when detectives were interrogating Strauss about threats he sent from his phone over twitter he simply took his phone deleted all his contacts, messages, and tweets and told authorities that forgot his password before returning the phone.

Earlier this July, Strauss was removed from the Rio Hotel and Casino after exposing himself while participating in a Wold Series of Poker Event. He was also removed from the Luxor for exposing himself while on top of a craps table.
