New Drive-Thru services in Las Vegas amid COVID-19 pandemic

Drive-thru appears to be a very practical solution during the pandemic and many businesses are starting to adopt the idea. 

As well as drive-thru testing for COVID-19 is allowing more people to discover the virus early and isolate themselves or seek medical help if needed. 

According to Councilwoman Pamela Goynes-Brown, who represents Texas Station, “During this pandemic, North Las Vegas has worked hard to bring as many testing opportunities as possible directly to our residents.”

Las Vegas company offering drive-thru weddings

 A new Las Vegas company now offers drive-thru service wedding ceremonies.


An Australian business operating out of Las Vegas is hosting small elopement and tiny weddings. 

“This is how I Do Drive-Thru came to be as we realized getting married is still absolutely an essential business,” said Berlynn Holdmann, the lead officiant in Las Vegas. 

“It can be done within the limitations and guidelines that are being enforced with social distancing measures.”

Getting married has never been easier and people are managing to cut a lot of cost on D.J, food catering, and more!

Currently, the average wedding costs around $400 and the ceremony is live-streamed to loved ones celebrating from a distance. 

It is worth mentioning that the company offers a full refund on wedding ceremonies in the case of total lockdown. 

“Arrive on two wheels, four wheels, two feet or no feet for your ceremony, at your chosen location,” I Do Drive-Thru. 

COVID-19 drive-thru testing available in North Las Vegas at Texas Station

The City of North Las Vegas partnered with the Southern Nevada Health District and Station Casinos to offer free COVID-19 testing at Texas Station Hotel & Casino.

“Up to 800 tests will be available each day on a first-come, first-serve basis. No appointments are needed. The testing is free and available to the drive-thru and walk-up clients from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on both days,” KTNV Las Vegas.

Persons being tested will be required to provide their identification and telephone number to receive the results of the test within a week. 

Testing is currently taking place on the first floor of the Texas Station parking garage.

 Councilwoman Pamela Goynes-Brown, “This site will provide 1,600 more tests as we continue working to slow the spread of the virus and responsibly. Reopen our city and the state.”
