Derek Stevens, a developer and casino owner, has launched Circa Sports inside Golden Gate Hotel & Casino in Downtown Las Vegas. The brand-new sports betting venue opening included a season-long pro-football contest of $1.5 Million and it also saw the launch of a new mobile application where players can place their bets on Circa Sports. The event also saw the ceremonial first bet taken on the same event with many top bookmakers invited. Some of the top names in the event included Mike Palm, vice president of operations and Matt Metcalf, sportsbook director.
Speaking on the launch, the casino owner was thrilled with the move as they would take all kinds of bets with Circa Sports. Explaining why they opted to launch it in Golden Gate, Derek said, ‘We intend to bring that old-school Las Vegas vibe to the floor, so there was no better place to bring this life than in Las Vegas’ most historic hotel, Golden Gate’
What is Circa Sports?
Circa is a new sports betting venture expected to provide quality customer support to the expected visitors and besides that, it is expected to be appealing to the new and existing bettors.
With the new venture, players will be able to take all kinds of bet and with the application launched as well, players can expect their accessibility and convenience levels to be offered. There will be regular updates of the games and the platform will offer daily games to the players and that will also include events and futures too.
The land-based sportsbook, designed by Moser Architecture Studio, has seen Golden Gate offer 1,297 square foot space where a video wall has been mounted coupled up with LED Boards that will display odds to the players and two betting kiosks where players can place their bets.
Season-long Circa Sports $1.5 Million Contest
Other features that the venture will offer will include a season-long Circa Sports Million Pro Football Contest which will be awarding prizes amounting to $1.5 Million and still on it, there will be a $1 Million prize that will be awarded to the champion.
Some of the requirements set for one to place a bet will require a player to be at least 21-years-old and for participation in the contest, a player will need to register with Golden Gate Hotel & Casino and an entry fee of $1,000 will be required as well. Interested parties will have until September 7, 2019, to finish the registration processes.
With the venture being launched in Golden Gate, plans are that a satellite program would be introduced to D Las Vegas, a sister property and the long term goal is that by December 2020, Circa Sports will have a ‘multi-level stadium-style’ sportsbook launched at Circa Resort & Casino which is expected to occupy space of 1.25 million square feet, 44 stories high with 777 rooms.
With anticipation of growth in the cards, the venture sees itself opening more future locations after the D Las Vegas is complete. ‘We are open to pursuing future expansion opportunities should the right situation arise.’ The developer stated.
