The newly regulated Swiss market expected to launch today, 1st July 2019, has seen another provider gaining entry to its market. This is after Evolution Gaming became the first provider teaming up with Grand Casino Baden to provide live casino products and solutions.
The latest entrant has been iSoftBet who are looking to take advantage of the Swiss untapped iGaming market. The provider announced on Friday 28th, June 2019, that it was on the preparations intended to launch new titles in the new space from today.
The provider expects to offer more than 70 in-house slots that are among the best performing. This is expected to be done to the locally authorized casinos according to the latest Swiss gaming laws.
The provider has since been authorized to gain entry into the market and Swiss players as from today can expect some of the iSoftBet’s popular titles like Book of Immortals, Hot Spin, Jumbo Stampede among others.
Switzerland stands as the 16th regulated market iSoftBet is making its entry to. It is expected to enter and provide products, services and Gaming Aggregation Platform (GAP) in the market. Other authorities that have certified the operator to provide its content include the UK, Belgium, Portugal, Spain, Estonia, Italy, Lithuania, Latvia and many other countries.
The news of its entry came after the approval of some of the land-based casinos in Switzerland receiving their approvals to launch their iGaming market today. The casinos given a go-ahead were Grand Casino Luzern, Casino Pfaffikon, Grand Casino Baden and Casino Davos.
Only 21 land-based casinos required
Last year saw Switzerland pass the new gambling law which also had the voters also throwing their weight behind it in the nationwide referendum. The law requires that only 21 land-based casinos will be granted the approval to provide online gaming.
The law also requires that any foreign casino gaining their entry to the local market should have a partnership with the local casinos and with the law in place, the casinos are expected to go live today.
Expressing his excitement about the entry, Michael Probert, iSoftBet’s Chief Commercial Officer, said, ‘We are very excited with the potential of the Swiss market and what the future holds as iSoftBet continues to go from strength to strength.’
On Mark Halstead, iSoftBet Compliance Manager’s part, he termed the move as a ‘new landmark’ in the business arena and he was glad that the provider’s content was ‘entering the latest regulated and regulating markets.’
The provider also announced another partnership that would see it solidifying its position in the regulated iGaming market. CasinoSolverde.pt, Portuguese casino gambling brand, signed a content distribution deal with iSoftBet which would see the brand launch library of games.
Additionally, the Portuguese brand would have the opportunity to select titles from over 3000 titles provided by developers that have been integrated into iSoftBet GAP platform.
The Gaming Aggregation Platform that iSoftBet boasts has games from the over 46 international providers on board and for CasinoSolverde.pt, there will be a lot of content to choose from.
